Recycling HVAC refrigerants is a vital process to protect our environment. At Super Cool, we ensure that all refrigerants from old systems are safely recovered, and disposed of in accordance to the EPA. We pump out all refrigerant, and ship it off to a certified recycling facility where they are purified and processed to be reused or properly disposed of according to EPA regulations.

By taking these steps, we not only prevent harmful substances from being released into the atmosphere but also promote a circular economy, making our services both environmentally friendly and cost-effective for our customers.

This may just sound like we’re just doing what we have to do. Unfortunately, venting refrigerant is a very common practice throughout our industry. Doing the right thing costs time, requires expensive tools, tanks, and logistics. We have a zero tolerance policy for venting refrigerant, and have terminated an employee in the past for venting refrigerant.
